Hero 荣膺2009年度最佳手机，如今 HTC 推出了其升级版本—HTC Legend，搭载 Android 2.1 Sense 界面，配置方面也有了全新的升级。
不过在发布会上，并没有将重点放在配置参数上，而是展示其一体式烧铸铝制金属外壳，铸造的全过程，HTC 的宣传口号 “quietly brilliant”，可谓说到做到。

使用铝制一体浇铸式工艺，需要在制作中对制品进行激光切割加工，最终才能得到成品，过程和苹果笔记本电脑的一体式浇铸工艺非常相似。使用此工艺做出来的产品，既能够保证强韧性，又不会导致机身过重。
